Greece 2007 May 19th to May 28th 2007

On the 19th May Liz & Dave went on holiday to Greece. This is a selection from over 200 photographs taken by us during that holiday.

We started off with a night of Greek food & dancing:

The next day we took a boat trip to the islands of Poros, Hydra & Aegina

The next day we started our land tour with a trip around Athens

After that, across the Corinth Canal

Then to Epidaurus and its famous theatre

The next day we head for Mycenae

We drove next to Sparta

The next day we are off to Mystra, A Byzantine hillside town

We stayed overnight at Pylos, a lovely town seldom visited by non-greeks

Next day a short drive to Nestor's Palace (Nestor was an ally of Agamemnon)

Then on to Ancient Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic games

We then left the Peleponese and headed for Delphi

The next day we wnt to Meteora
